Producer, Composer, Multi-instrumentalist, DJ and comic, Shok got a quick start when his band, Zeitmahl's album was a hit on the CMJ charts allowing him exposure. He then went on to have one of his techno songs picked up on the highly acclaimed, THIS IS TECHNO compilation, which sold well over the hundred thousand mark. His independantly released electronic music charted worlwide and DJ fans from Keoki to Hardkiss, brought his music on to the floors of massive dance events. His live electro-organic percussion performances at raves had him on stage with the likes of Josh Wink, Moby, DB, Nigel Richards, Karl K. and even The Bloodhound Gang
After the techno had cooled, he returned to work on his song structured music for ZEITMAHL, produced and wrote music for ANITA HAXSAW, and had music featured in films such as WIDE AWAKE, by M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs), who selected Shok's song "BLAME". The next few years were spent remixing and or producing dozens of songs. He then created the underground sensation, animated music video series FDA and joined the crew of the globally popular, Newgrounds.com that has remained in the top of the most hit websites in existence since 1999.
Shok relocated from his home, Philadelphia, PA to Hollywood, CA in 2000 and a year later was asked to compose all of the music for A&E's Biography special, Eclipsed by Death - The Life of River Phoenix. More than two dozen of his songs were featured on this popular tv program about the life and death of child star, River Phoenix.
Shok & Daniel Ash (Bauhaus, Love And Rockets) worked together and he produced, composed and perfromed music and themes for KEEN EDDIE, a new hit tv series from Paramount Pictures for FOX tv, on Tuesdays at 9pm. The show is a comedy shot in London about a NYC Police Cop. Additional music was created by Orbital, NEW ORDER and Bent featuring Jon Marsh (The Beloved).
Daniel Ash was featured earlier this year within Shok's online cartoon music video, ASSWARP, which spoofs The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The video features a large cast including Jason Miller of Godhead formerly on Marilyn Manson's label, Posthumon Records and Michele Mortem of Carpe Mortem Records.
Shok has also been at work on projects for video games, DJing Convergence 9 in Las Vegas, USA, producing several bands as and artists ( Donita Sparks of L7), writing the script for the cartoon series, www.Sillygoth.com and most recently completing several remixes. He remixed "Return" for The Cruxshadows, Codec & Flexor's "Black Diamonds", a remix collaboration with David J. (Bauhaus/ Love And Rockets) on Codec & Flexor's "Time Has Changed" for Emperor Norton Records (Ladytron), and also had Mike Peoples from 16 Volt join him on a remix for Attrition's single, "Dante's Kitchen".
His ambient record under the moniker, EMIT PEELS, is available for download on the home site. The music was created and recorded between late April and June of 2003 in between work on hard dance tracks, remixes and mixing pop rock.
"This music is geared toward the exploration of sound and setting a mood where the music has space to breathe" - Shok
Shok is currently working with Erik Wiese of Spongebob Squarepants & Catdog fame on the upcoming cartoon series www.Sillygoth.com

A demo is available on this site since the 08th of November 2003.
I have not had yet added the real vocal take.. these were some of the scratch tracks so I could make sure the song
was headed in the right direction. Also the vocals for the second verse are not on this demo.
I will have a better version when the rest of my musical obligations chill down a bit.
