The Desiderates were formed in 2001, and have stayed together since, with the four original members having now added a keyboard player, Sean "Donut" Howard. The band spent a long time in seclusion from the public arena, perfecting their style in private before making their debut on the Boston club scene. Preparing to release their first LP in March, The Desiderates are booking a tour of the United States to promote the album.
